We live in an age of sides.
For or against. True or fake. Us or them. Every opinion becomes a position, every difference a line to defend. Nuance is inconvenient. Doubt looks like weakness. Certainty travels faster.
And yet, opposition has a strange intimacy. The further we pull apart, the more tightly we remain tied to what we oppose.
Perhaps antagonism is the club we have all joined without noticing.
